CheetahSol Product

The CheetahSol product is used to clarify process water and is used directly in storm water applications. CheetahSol requires no pre-dilutions and is shipped as 1% - 2% - 3% Chitosan Acetate concentration levels for use in Storm Water Treatment Systems. CheetahSol has a very low toxicity to aquatic life and is readily biodegradable and manufactured with “Green Chemistry” materials. The product consistency creates ideal “User Friendly” characteristics required for field applications. The CheetahSol product is formulated as a Cationic Polymer with a high molecular weight and charge and can be modified to treat high alkalinity waters.

CheetahSol Application

Product concentrations of 1% - 2% - 3% chitosan are typically used but can vary depending on customer needs. The products quickly flash into the water phase for fast easy mixing applications. They have a higher buffering capacity to minimize the impact of higher pH water. Jar testing is recommended prior to use. Product performance is related to pH range and can be adapted to site specific processes. Ideal water to be treated pH range is 5.5 to 6.7.
